Marsha Van Vlack paints beautiful scenes on tiles. She makes single tiles to hang on the wall, as well as multiple tiles that form a scene when hung together. She can custom make larger sets of tiles as well. A very impressive work is the library entrance in Whitesville, NY.

We enjoy visiting Marsha on Allegany Artisans Weekend, when her studio is open and you can see how she creates her work. Whitesville is an out of the way location, but it is well worth the trip to see her work.

Her web site is http://www.artilesvanvlack.com/home.html

Here are some photos I took on a recent trip.

Thest tiles are paintings of various birds. They are quite realistic and beautiful.
