Mr. Lewis, I am a descendant of William Lewis who was born in County Down, Ireland in 1740. I have applied to the DAR and need to verify one generation from William to myself. There is a question with the DAR genealogist about my great-great-grandfather James Harvey Lewis who went by the name Harve and sometimes just James H. Is my family in your book?
Unfortunately not. All the Lewis’s in my book came from Wales in the mid-1600s.
